The Primitivo Rosa del Golfo is born from the homonymous grapes of what is one of the most important varieties for Apulian viticulture, Primitivo. The vines of this variety grow with the bush training system, sinking their roots into a red soil, rich in iron, characterized by a calcareous and clayey subsoil. The vineyards where it is cultivated surround the municipalities of Sava, Manduria, Sannicola, and Alezio. The grapes, once harvested during the harvest, are crushed and then statically cold decanted; followed by alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel containers at controlled temperature.controlled. Finally, we move on to the aging phase, in which the wine rests for a few months in oak barrels.
