The Riesling Grosses Gewachs “Marienburg” is one of the excellences of the entire production of the Clemens Busch winery. It can indeed boast a precise origin, within a terroir that we could define as a Grand Cru if we want to make a comparison with the French classification system, where the Riesling grape grows on truly heroic slopes. A label with an aristocratic profile, whose range of aromas is mainly fruity, while on the palate it opens up to a fresh and savory drink, typical of the type. If you are passionate about the Moselle and want a wine that tells you its secrets from the height of its quality, then the "Marienburg" is the bottle you are looking for.

The Riesling Grosses Gewachs “Marienburg” Clemens Busch originates from Riesling grapes grown in one of the most important crus in all of Moselle. The term “Grosse Gewachs” indicates, in the classification system of wines from this German region, the best vineyards from which particularly expressive wines are born, with exceptional aging potential.of aging. Among these shines the Marienburg, which gives its name to the label, perfectly exposed to the south, whose soils, composed of gray slate, have an impressive percentage of steepness. In the vineyard, where the plants are about 30 years old, biodynamic preparations are used, scheduling interventions based on cosmic forces, such as the lunar cycle, respecting their influence on nature. The must, slightly oxidized, ferments spontaneously in the cellar, in large oak barrels. The final aging lasts for 10 months and is carried out in barrels with a capacity of 10 hectoliters.

This Riesling Grosses Gewachs “Marienburg” by Clemens Busch presents itself to the eye with a light golden color, endowed with a special brightness. The nose is dominated by hints of exotic fruit, enriched by herbaceous nuances and puffs that evoke a certain savoriness. The palate is truly a delight, with a medium structure that is entirely orchestrated on a fresh and savory vein. A label that is a real gem.oeno-logical, which can easily be forgotten in the cellar for the next six, seven years.
