Der Pinot Blanc 'Cora' aus dem Weingut Colterenzio ist ein duftender Wein mit frischen und zarten Empfindungen. Überwiegend fruchtige Noten folgen dem Geruchssinn, wo Birne und Apfel dominieren. Am Gaumen bietet er eine angenehme Frische und ein saftiges Gefühl, das den Gaumen reinigt und zum Trinken einlädt. Duftend und ausgewogen!
The Pinot Bianco “Thurner”, with its refined elegance and perfect taste balance, represents the synthesis of the characteristics of the grape variety and the splendid Alto Adige territory. The subtle aromas, the delicate fruit, the harmony as style and form, speak to us of a noble grape from Burgundy and a terroir highly suited for the production of great whites. A wine that rewards those who approach the glass without seeking intense and exuberant aromas, but who appreciate above all the expressive finesse. In the glass, the Pinot Bianco does not shout, but tells with composed harmony its discreet, clear, and well-recognizable personality. It is a grape variety that has found a second homeland in Alto Adige and offers in this region very interesting quality labels.
“Thurner” is a pure Pinot Bianco that comes from a selection of grapes from vineyards cultivated in the Appiano and Cornaiano areas, at an altitude of about 500 meters, on gravelly soils with a significant presence of limestone. The cool climate, with significant temperature variations between day and night, favors a slow ripening of the grapes with elegant aromatic profiles. With the awareness that the quality of a wine is born first of all in the countryside, Cantina Colterenzio closely monitors the vineyards, with productions that do not exceed 70 quintals per hectare. Fermentation takes place in steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 18 °C and the wine then matures for a few months always in steel before being bottled.
The wine “Thurner” is a Pinot Bianco that expresses Cantina Colterenzio's pursuit of producing wines with immediate varietal recognizability, with fresh and fruity aromas. A typicity that also highlights the characteristics of the terroir of origin, thus reinforcing the ancient bond of the grape variety with the Alto Adige land. The color is straw yellow. The olfactory profile is distinguished by the finesse of the aromas, which range from floral notes to white fruit aromas, with pear and apple prominently featured. The sip expresses composure and harmony, with a delicate and light fruitiness, pleasant savory notes, a very balanced freshness and never excessive.
