The Rosé from the Cantina di Caldaro is made from a blend of red grape varieties grown in the area of Lake Caldaro. The mild and sunny climate and the suitable soils allow for grapes with an intense aromatic profile. The aging only in steel preserves the fruity aromas of the grapes, highlighting their varietal typicity. It is a rich and well-structured rosé, which showcases a strong gastronomic propensity.

The wine "K Rosé" from Cantina di Caldaro is obtained from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir, and Lagrein, which ripen perfectly on the shores of Lake Caldaro and along the slopes rising towards the nearby mountains. The soils have a heterogeneous and complex composition, with ancient soils generated from the disintegration of porphyries and dolomites, then covered by glacial moraine deposits and alluvial deposits from the Adige. This has formed a series of natural terraces, perfect for vine cultivation. The vineyards have an average age between 6 and 16 years and are trained in Guyot with

yields that do not exceed 60 quintals per hectare. Once the harvest is completed, the grapes are gently pressed and after a brief contact with the skins, the must is fermented in steel at low temperatures. The wine undergoes partial malolactic fermentation and ages on the lees for several months in stainless steel tanks before being bottled.

The "K Rosé" produced by Cantina di Caldaro is a wine faithful to the South Tyrolean tradition of producing rather intense and rich rosés, to be enjoyed at the table with local cured meats or delicate white meats. In the glass, it presents a color that is almost cerasuolo pink. On the nose, it expresses aromas of small red berries, cherry, raspberry, strawberry, floral nuances, and slight spicy notes. On the palate, it has a good structure with fresh and crunchy fruit, a soft and harmonious sip, and a finish of great taste balance.
