The Falanghina “Janare Anima Lavica”, from the La Guardiense winery, is a label that highlights the ongoing research work of this famous Campanian reality. It is a bottle that arises from the desire to deepen the knowledge of the nuances of the terroir of the Benevento area and enhance its particular characteristics. Within the vast area of vineyards managed by the winery, only a few crus characterized by predominantly volcanic soils have been selected. The result is a Falanghina that, in addition to the classic varietal notes, offers a savory, fresh, and mineral profile, a typical expression of the lands where the vines are cultivated.

The white Falanghina “Janare Anima Lavica” is produced by one of the most important cooperative wineries in the area, which for years has decided to embark on the path of quality, offering a range of wines of excellent level. La Guardiense manages an estate of about 1500 hectares, which is home to about a thousand small contributing members, cultivated mainly with Falanghina, but where other native grape varieties of the area also find space, particularly Greco, Fiano, Coda di Volpe, and Aglianico. Anima Lavica is the purest and most direct expression of the terroir. In fact, it is a label made solely and exclusively with grapes from vines that take root in ancient volcanic tuff soils. After the gentle pressing of the bunches, fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The aging occurs in steel tanks for a period of a few months.

“Janare Anima Lavica” La Guardiense is a Falanghina that adds to the numerous versions of the grape present in the winery's wine collection, offering a particular version, with a clear volcanic character. In the glass, it presents a bright, pale straw yellow color, with subtle greenish reflections. The bouquet is characterized by aromas of lime zest, wildflowers, hints of broom, and fragrant white-fleshed fruit. On the palate, it is savory and vertical, with a sip that expresses
