The Piedmontese “Rossofuoco” is a truly enjoyable Barbera d’Asti, which thanks to a linear and flawless structure is perfect – considering also the final price at which it is offered and the versatility it possesses in the gastronomic field – as a bottle to be seriously considered for daily consumption with any meal. We are faced with a label with fruity aromas, a prelude to a clear and crisp sip, which conquers the palate from the very first moments. Vite Colte, a cooperative production reality that today counts on the support of 180 members, confirms itself as an extremely skilled winery in bringing to life the most classic types that authentically represent the tradition of Piedmontese viticulture.

The “Rossofuoco” is a Barbera d’Asti that comes from the grapes of a traditional Piedmontese vine, the Barbera. The Vite Colte winery cultivates it on the hills of Asti, following organic farming practices, using only natural substances for soil fertilization and for health protection, reducing the environmental impact of viticulture.  The must ferments in stainless steel containers at a controlled temperature, also undergoing malolactic fermentation. The wine is then bottled and rests for a few months directly in glass before being marketed.

The Barbera d'Asti "Rossofuoco" presents itself to the visual examination with a particularly intense ruby color. The aromas that spread to the nose tell of a primarily fruity soul, enriched by sensations that lean more towards the vinous.  On the palate, it is light-bodied, lively, and cheerful, with a tasty dry sip, endowed with a nice roundness. A traditional Piedmontese red interpreted in an organic key, perfect for accompanying various recipes and land ingredients at the table.
