The Moscato Rosa "Pasithea" by Girlan is a sweet wine from Alto Adige with a soft and smooth sip, characterized by a sugar level that makes it easily paired with fruit desserts and various types of sweets. The Moscato Rosa, a very ancient aromatic variety, lends itself well to the drying of the grapes, giving rise to a bouquet of delicate aromas on the nose, a prelude to a fresh sip, where the tannin is barely accentuated. A gem to keep hidden, to be brought out at the table only when you want to evoke a pleasant surprise!

This "Pasithea" Girlan is a Moscato Rosa that comes from grapes of the same variety, grown in Cornaiano, on the hills of Oltradige. We are at an altitude of between 450 and 500 meters above sea level, in well-ventilated vineyards, characterized by a subsoil rich in minerals, formed during the glacial period. The manual harvest is delayed until November and the grapes are dried in small containers until mid-January. The must ferments slowly, macerating for 15 days with the skins. The wine is then transferred into small oak barrels, where it rests for 8 months, until the bottling procedures begin.

The “Pasithea Rosa” is a Moscato Rosa that develops in the glass with a light ruby color, not too concentrated, with a beautiful brightness. The aromatic profile is broad and seductive, opening up to touches of small red fruits enriched by tertiary notes, developed during the time the wine spends in wood. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, with a sweet sip but never cloying, telling its story delicately thanks to a very well-polished tannic structure; the dominant taste on the palate is represented by a pleasant fresh note. A label with which it is truly a pleasure to conclude a formal dinner, thus reserving a final surprise for your guests.
