The Morellino di Scansano "Heba" is a clear, clean, and fragrant red wine with excellent drinkability: a brilliant expression of Maremma Toscana. Its name is that of the ancient Etruscan toponym of the town of Magliano. It is produced by Fattoria di Magliano in one of the most vocated and picturesque hilly areas of the Tuscan countryside for the production of quality, elegant, and territorial wines.
The Morellino di Scansano "Heba" comes from vineyards cultivated according to the principles of organic farming, rooted in a medium-textured soil rich in skeleton between 150 and 250 meters above sea level. The high planting density of 6400 vines per hectare, combined with the high vocation of the soil and the beneficial marine influences, contributes to the production of healthy and juicy Sangiovese and Syrah grapes, an essential requirement for producing good wines. In the winery, the must ferments at controlled temperature in steel tanks and matures for 4 to 6 months in traditional unglazed cement vats. No filtration or other invasive interventions are carried out, in favor of traditional procedures.

On the nose, it expresses notes of cherries, wild strawberries, geraniums, and wild violets. On the palate, it reveals itself to be soft and very balanced, dry and impeccable, animated by a refreshing drinkability and pleasant, rounded tannins. It is an excellent companion at the table, to be paired with cold cuts, tasty crostini, mushrooms, and traditional Tuscan meat dishes.
