The Etichetta Bianca of Tenuta del Buonamico is a modern and innovative interpretation of a very ancient and strictly territorial type of wine, that of the small village of Montecarlo in Toscana, already appreciated since the Middle Ages by popes and rulers. Traditionally, it is produced from the indigenous variety of Trebbiano Toscano, this time accompanied by Malvasia Bianca and the international grape varieties Pinot Bianco, Sauvignon, and Semillon. This choice is functional to obtaining a good aromatic richness and an expressiveness of international style.
The idea of Montecarlo Bianco from the Tenuta del Buonamico is that of a white wine with a fresh, simple, and immediate drinkability, but not lacking a generous expressive liveliness, sought through the contribution of grapes like Sauvignon and Semillon. All the grapes come from the estate vineyards located in the Cercatoia area, rooted in a hilly medium-textured soil. During production, the vinifications are separated for each type of grape and are all carried out in steel at controlled temperature. The results of all these micro-vinifications are assembled just before bottling, in order to seek the perfect balance for each vintage.
The Montecarlo Bianco "Etichetta Bianca" is a wine with a sparkling and youthful personality, capable of communicating itself with immediacy. Its aromas are rich and pleasant: nuances of fresh white fruit join cornucopias of orange blossoms and lemons, with light tones reminiscent of honey. The sip is soft, slender, fruity, floral, and very fresh. The varietal aromatic profiles of the different grape varieties come together perfectly like pieces of a mosaic, creating a brilliant and luminous representation of the Tuscan territory of Montecarlo.
