Das Chardonnay von Tenuta Aquilaia ist ein Weißwein, der auf den lehmigen und sandigen Böden der Maremma Toscana entsteht, ein unverzichtbares Element für seine ausgeprägte Mineralität. Mit einer brillanten strohgelben Farbe, wird dieses frische und elegante Chardonnay mindestens 12 Stunden mazeriert, bevor die alkoholische Gärung erfolgt; der nächste Schritt ist die Reifung: diese erfolgt teilweise in französischen Eichenfässern und teilweise in Edelstahl, wodurch ein voller, salziger und anhaltender Wein mit fruchtigen, vor allem tropischen, blumigen und vanilligen Aromen entsteht. Ideal zu einem Gericht mit Spaghetti allo Scoglio oder zu frischen Käsesorten.

This bottle belongs to the ‘Auspici’ line, which includes wines produced from selected grapes, hand-picked and vinified with wood aging to enhance that peculiar combination of territory, vineyard, and human work. Chardonnay is probably the most famous white grape variety in the world, cultivated in every corner of the globe thanks to its extraordinary enological and organoleptic properties. Although it always presents distinctive traits, this variety is able to “read” the territory where it is grown like few others, enhancing the qualities of the soils, microclimate, and environment in which it grows, as well as the winemaking process adopted.
